Hostile Environment

As if the subjects and the professors are not enough of stressors, why is the UP Law environment so hostile? It’s like happiness has been sucked out of everyone’s system and everyone is just silently screaming please let this be over! An incantation chanted not only when one is sitting, waiting for the class to be over, or standing up and reciting, but every moment, every breath! Please let this be over!
No, not just yet. I do not want this dream to be over. I am not in Law to meet people and mingle, I am in UP Law to be a great lawyer. And the environment won’t stop me.
When I graduate, I shall not ask anyone for a write-up for my yearbook page. I will simply write: Everyday I remind myself that I am living my dreams.
