Valentine’s day is stressful for non-date goers. I should have known. I invited my family to dinner to try out a new place near our house. It is a family restaurant so I assumed that not many couples would be going there to celebrate Valentine’s. Well, I was right. There were not many couples. Then again, I was hopelessly ignorant. Apparently, a lot of families do go out on the night of hearts.
So, we ended up on the third nearest restaurant. The place was crowded with families having their dinner. The food was just okay. To entertain myself, I did the most impolite thing of watching other people eat. By the end of the dinner, I was full.
