Seoul Barbecue

Definitely ranks high in the list of must-try. We were greeted with a perky An-yŏng-ha-se-yo as we entered the dining area. The place was simple and casual; the food was anything but. The dishes were a fusion of flavors. As Korean dining goes, we were served with more than a dozen side dishes. Each represented a taste sensation- something sweet, something salty, something spicy, something bitter, even something earthy. We tried the Japche, a noodle dish, and their Bibimbap, a bowl of rice topped with a mouthful of ingredients. The dining experience was simple yet compound, clean yet complex.
