What Became of Him
Posted on February 20, 2012
I remember this guy from undergrad. We were not friends, neither acquaintances. But I happen to know him because I was an avid fan of his writing. He wrote witty and timely. He made mundane things alive, and life humorous and comical. He also dabbled on photography and filmmaking. Still, for me, his forte was writing. Free-spirited writing that knew no grammar, no tenses, no pretenses. Just seamless communication through his writing.
Now, what became of him? I do not know really. I have no clue.
Well, he is not a household name, that I am sure of.
But where is he? Where can I read him?
The last of his writings that I read were pretty self-absorbed. He was in the center of his universe. Perhaps it collapsed, but I did not hear of the big bang.
Perhaps, the writer could not handle his soul.
